A
One Day Stress & Mind Management Workshop for the 21st
Century

This unique one day workshop combines ancient wisdom with
positive psychology and aims to teach participants two simple
and essential skills for mastering the challenges of modern
life...

You
will learn how to meditate (or relax very deeply if you prefer).
Meditation is a simple and natural process and there are various
techniques that can be used. My approach is designed to enable
you to find the technique which is right for you.
Meditation (or deep relaxation) is accepted in both ancient
and modern medicine as the most efficient way of reducing
stress and the less stress you have, the happier, healthier
and more in control of your life you are.

You
will also learn how to defragment your mind so that it runs
faster and more efficiently. Just like a computer your brain
can accumulate broken and unhelpful files in the form of negative
belief systems.
Repairing negative belief systems will not only minimise
future stress
but will also maximise your potential for success... whatever
success means to you.
In addition to these
life changing skills, you will discover some amazing things
about yourself and how your mind works. You will discover
that your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between
what is real and what you imagine. This is important because
whatever you imagine, good or bad, is what your subconscious
mind thinks you want to happen.
A key message in the workshop is that it is not events that
cause us problems, but how we choose to react to them. The
story about Buddha below illustrates this point perfectly.
Buddha
was walking through a village when a young man approached
him and started shouting. Hey what gives you the right
to tell people what to do, you are no better than the rest
of us, you are nothing but a fraud, he yelled.
Buddha ignored the man and carried on walking. The man then
said Why don't you reply aren't you offended by my insults?
Buddha
stopped, turned to the man and said If you buy a gift
for someone and they choose not to accept it, to whom does
the gift belong?
The
young man was confused and thought about the question before
replying "It would belong to me as I bought it.
Buddha
smiled and said Correct and it is exactly the same with
your anger, if I choose not to accept it, the anger belongs
to you.
This is not a high powered, mystical or indeed 'blind you
with science' workshop. It is, however, a unique fusion of
ancient wisdom with modern science.
The ideas are simple, obvious and easy to apply. The day is
designed to be informal, enjoyable and relaxing.
I do not claim these as my ideas, they have been developed
by far smarter people than me. All I have done is combined
the best from the ancient and modern teachers into an easily
digestible one day workshop...which will give you all the
tools you need to cope with anything that life throws at you.
